Catherine Medina, LMSW

Catherine is an empathic Licensed Social Worker who graduated from New York University. She is a Certified Kids' Yoga Instructor, Level II Usui Reiki Practitioner, and a certified Angelic Healer. Catherine believes in applying a holistic approach to assist others in regaining emotional and/or spiritual health. 

Trained on the Integrated Treatment Model, Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR and CBT Somatic ­Based interventions, Catherine assists clients in transitioning from surviving to thriving to help them achieve their potential. With over 12 years of experience working in the fields of mental health and social services, Catherine has supported clients battling depression, anxiety, grief & loss, trauma, teen issues, self-esteem, and relational issues (families/couples) through individual and group sessions. 

She has worked in private practice, mental health clinics, and government funded residential treatment center programs. As a fully bilingual therapist (English & Spanish), Catherine has worked with recent migrants struggling with acculturation and immigration related trauma.
